Perry Street – Brookline, MA Set on a lush, tree-shaded lot in Brookline, this four-unit residence was designed to maximize space and natural light while honoring the historic character of the property. Originally built in 1871 as a showcase of Mansard style architecture, the home still features its distinctive scalloped slate roof, label moldings, and detailed brackets along the eaves and cornice.
Inside, we reimagined the structure across four stories, giving each condominium two half-floors instead of one full floor. This design creates individualized spaces, unique lighting opportunities, and flexible layouts that make each home feel truly distinct.
Every unit features a modern custom chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances and carefully selected finishes. The warmer palette and thoughtful details bring a sense of comfort and intimacy to balance the contemporary layouts.
Spanning over 2,500 square feet, each home offers three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, along with inviting communal areas and private retreats. From the landscaped perennial gardens to the oversized porch, Perry Street blends historic architecture with modern design, creating a timeless living experience in the heart of Brookline.
